I kinda had a mixed story when younger - both loved wet clothes and hated wet clothes. All depended on the situation and time, or the mood I was in.

The first time I remember doing this was when I was maybe 11 years old and came home dirty from soccer. My Mom said to go out back and use the hose to wash off my feet and I got some water (unintentionally) on my soccer shorts while trying to avoid the coldness. She said to just take them off and I was kind of like "no way" and so I just said "why don't I just get in the shower and wash everything with warm water, to which she reluctantly agreed. I don't think she meant "everything" but I did and soaked everything. She was there in less than 5 minutes saying "no no no I meant wash off your legs and feet and arms but keep your clothes dry". Hahaha, yeah right. Anyway, felt great and I loved it.

Next time I had a dirty soccer practice I asked when we were coming home if I could just do it again in the shower and she said "yes". My uniform was quite dirty again, so I just said flat out that I was going to soak everything and she said "fine but get done and clean the clothes, then yourself, then get out".

Became a bit of a ritual.

We didn't have a pool and I don't know how to swim, but I still loved water, so I asked sometimes in the summer if I could just sit on the porch and soak myself with the hose. Many times Mom and Dad would say yes. I'd say one of my times was very embarrassing when my parents' friends (older folk) showed up in the driveway when I was fully soaked and they said something, then Mom told me to come in and I dripped my way in front of them, to their teasing, all the way through the family room to the bathroom in the back. That turned me off of it for a while.

The next couple years I don't fully remember everything, but teenage-hood was coming and so I was changing. I already had a deep voice and other changes, which came with other desires. Any time my parents were out (which was often - they curled one night a week at the curling club in town), I would get fully soaked. Sometimes I'd say I was doing it before they left (I'd never ask, just say I was "doing" it). My Dad was disgusted and made fun of me for it, so I'd usually wait until he went to the car and tell Mom, or I wouldn't say at all and "hide" it. Did this for maybe 18 months without getting caught.

The year I turned 13 was the year I got these very shiny (it's called dazzle fabric) shorts for Christmas. I absolutely loved them. They could be soaked, feel soaked, cling like they're soaked, but look completely dry. Just loved them. I got that pair for Christmas (they were black) and ended up buying a few more pair of different colours later. I learned that the different colours still change colour when wet, but I didn't mind.

The first time I found this site in particular was when my Dad did catch me once (they had left for curling and forgotten something), and I was doing one of my things of getting wet, and coming up to the foyer where there were a bunch of full-length mirrors and looking at myself in the mirror all soaked. Suddenly the door opened and I'm standing there mid-puddle, and a bit indecent (you know what I mean). He used the term "fetish" for the first time, and I had no idea what it meant. When they left again, I looked it up online.

I didn't realize that it meant sexual things, so I immediately felt embarrassed because other than being a bit hard I didn't ever have any other feelings (yet). But I was intrigued, so I kept searching and found this site.

I had to secretly look at this site because since that incident with my Dad I was being watched like a hawk. Mom usually still didn't "mind" (but inside she did, she was just more of a pushover than Dad). I did post a long while back as "wet17" (when I was 17) and then since then until recently as "Anonymous". I've added a name to my posts now which is similar to my real name, but not the same.

I'm now in my late 30s and still interested in wet clothes. It's to varying degrees now - sometimes I'd prefer to do it myself, sometimes I don't feel like getting wet at all but instead looking at others getting wet. And now there's AI. Oof, AI has basically gotten me the wetlook I've always wanted but never been able to see.

I did try to get a group of friends to get wet once for charity. It was a good cause, and that's what got people excited, but everyone ended up chickening out - except one. I still have the video of the person that did it. His brother-in-law also did it later on, but the video was kinda crummy (he filmed it from inside the shower and you couldn't see anything), but I lost it anyway. Well, kind of accidentally deleted it. I thought at one point I had lost the other one too of my friend who did do it properly (I filmed it so it was done right - he came over to my place on the day before I was moving out and got into my shower - was amazing, actually. He wore my shoes too because he didn't want to soak his own.) I may post it on my insta later. His name is in it, but I'm not too worried about it. I don't particularly care if he finds out because for him it was a charity challenge (and it was - we donated $2,000 to a local charity among all the friends), but only he did the actual challenge properly.

I had some friends when I was in high school that did it too, but that was before videos were common, so I just had to imagine them.

One other tidbit to note - I soaked shoes for the first time in 2008, after I was trying to go outside wet (but keep my shoes dry, ha ha ha), and ended up getting them pretty wet so I just got back and went back into the shower - boy did that feel great, and it was how I got into wet shoes. I'm not probably more into wet shoes than anything. For me, if you don't soak with shoes on you're not soaking wet.
